How NFL defenses are combatting unexpected rise of under-center offenses
Defenses are blitzing under-center passes at a record 51% rate, unleashing linebackers and cornerbacks to disrupt condensed formations and outside zone runs.

New, from me: I’m sure you’ve heard that NFL offenses are going back under center at a high rate this season. But what are defenses doing to counter it? I broke it down here. www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl...

Concepcion's spinner motion takes 50 out of the play, Fano just does enough against Jeffrey Simmons and Judkins runs this with nice pacing to let the blocks build and find the endzone

Some really good blocking on this play by LG Zion Johnson and TE Blake Whiteheart. The FB releasing to the backside also holds the backside LB, so once this play hits there's nobody to beat but the safety

Harold Fannin Jr is a menace with the ball in his hands. Love how Todd Monken can draw up easy YAC opportunities for his most explosive players after the catch

Really good rep by Marcus Harris (#26). Stops Fannin in his tracks, helps force Judkins to bounce this run where Flott and Amani Hooker can make this play

There's been a lot of #discourse on the other app this play, so here are my thoughts : rookie mistake and bad rep by Denzel Boston + awesome play by Flott. Boston doesn't move Flott off his spot enough and also can't fight across his face, giving him an easy path to the INT

Standing pat unless they think Daiyan Henley can be traded for
If you were GM of the Patriots what are you doing heading to the deadline?

I’d build the boat out of 12 and 13 and help Freeling with TEs in pass pro
Other than that I’d advise taking Jimmy Horn’s leg and giving it to Moton, that way he can actually be involved in the offense

Is there anything schematically you think the Panthers can do to fix their OL problem or without TMo is it just #over

Yes, but they just do not have the dudes to run what they want this year
Is there any saving the Bills defense

Depends on the GM but if I were coming in I’d gradually replace the scouting regime, or at least establish a new philosophy
When a new GM comes in does he wipe the whole scouting regime or does he replace it bit by bit over time, and if so how long should we give new GMs to get talent in their scouting organization

Run the damn ball
4th and goal from the 2, Super Bowl. Last play, crowd going crazy, glory a tantalizing few feet away. NFL immortality on the line. Do you run Walter Payton up the gut or give him a toss?

Idk if it’s open tanking, but I do think we’re seeing depth around the NFL being at a low
Seems there are more very bad teams this year -can we attribute this to more open tanking?

His contract is a beast, and the optics of trading 2 first round picks for a player to trade him away a year later look HORRENDOUS
Do you think Sauce gets traded or does his contract preclude that at this point?
