So, a lot of people don’t know this, but Bluesky lost ~300,000 users since this time last year and hasn’t been able to recover. Staff is correct to note that the site has a toxicity issue (remember how many trans women were dogpiled this year?) but seem woefully incapable of managing this problem

Aaron Roderick deleted post A big goal of mine is to have aggregate scores for account toxicity. Some folks drag down the quality of the conversation and drive users off this site. We'll get there by calculating how often someone is toxic, and eventually move to restricting their visibility to broader accounts.
