you can just look at the donations -- this is not the case! anthropic employees' political donations are 99% to Democrats, and disproportionately to politicians who want to regulate their employer. anthropic employees' support for a Alaska politician promising a moratorium was a microscandal!
like the stories don't mention that the Trump administration has lobotomized our cybersecurity, privacy, and public safety regulators, and most of these young tech guys either didn't vote, or supported that

Announcement pollution is one of those things that’s a huge problem but complaining about it sounds like nitpicking. It’s a respect and safety issue.

Announcement pollution is one of those things that’s a huge problem but complaining about it sounds like nitpicking. It’s a respect and safety issue.

I went to camp with a kid who was easily a foot taller than the other kids. No matter the sport, everyone wanted him on their team and no one complained about it being unsafe or unfair for him to compete against smaller kids. The whole safety and fairness argument against trans kids in sports is BS.

I want to make sure everyone in the city is aware that SUNY Downstate operates a large and extremely skilled LGBTQ and gender affirming care clinic, and we have repeatedly reiterated our intention to go to jail before we stop.

Another reminder that firefighter/police/emt opposition to policies like congestion pricing, bike lanes, road diets, pedestrianization, etc. typically have nothing to do with legitimate public safety concerns and everything to do with maintaining personal driving and parking privileges.
Remember when FDNY so vigorously opposed congestion pricing that the union representing New York City’s emergency response teams directed its members to transfer out of Midtown and Lower Manhattan before the toll came into effect?
