I tried downloading my data from Facebook in preparation to further close or wind down my accounts there -- using the official Facebook export data tool, mind you -- and Facebook suspended my account.

Surgery went smoothly and I've been home sleeping off the anesthesia. I have a new scar to add to my collection, this one about two inches long next to my groin, lol. It'll be a long boring weekend of home rest.
My final dinner (before hernia surgery) is the steak Waldorf salad at Locket, the hotel restaurant at the new Hilton in Rosslyn. Possibly the best salad I've had in my life (second time having it).;

Well I was going to scale back some civic involvement to focus on wrapping up college (graduating in December!) & job hunting, but I'm proud to announce I've volunteered to be Transportation Commission liaison to the new Carlin Springs Multimodal Transportation Study to focus on #VisionZero.

I finally packed away the last of my summer clothes and hung my autumn ones up. There's a big difference in the number of spare hangers I have left, so I guess this means I can buy more sweaters and flannel, yes?

Question for the legal minds on bsky: How is it that Presidential pardons are deemed in effect *before* anyone has been found guilty of a crime? I thought pardons were to wipe away convictions that had already been ruled on? Is there a constitutional argument for undoing any such pardons? #legalsky
