Struggling to find the time and motivation to get back into things. The passion's still there, the schedule just isn't allowing for it. Ugh.

It's August 1st.
Know what that means?
It's my birth month. Thus, time to celebrate.

Out of the kingdoms I contributed to, my favorite has to be the Staal'xash Empire. It gave me a chance to channel Game of Thones and dragons and hot elves and political intrigue. Way better than reality right now, you know? So if that's your jam, do me a favor and grab a copy.

Since I haven’t put in notice, I haven’t told many people but I finally accepted a job that will pay me what I’m worth. Not remote so less time at home but less worrying about bills too. I feel like I can finally breathe.

Having a coworker tell me I’d make an excellent union rep if we had a union was probably the best compliment they could give me.

It’s a tough time to be anything other than the “accepted norm”
Just sending good thoughts out there to hopefully remind you all that you aren’t alone. I’ve been fairly absent from social media lately but I’m still here ish and love y’all.

This last week has been full of suck. So… tell me something good that happened? Could be for you or just in general.

Make sure you're taking care of yourself. Precarious times, you know?
Be good to yourself. Be good to others.

if the election weren't enough to prove the deplorably short attention spans of americans, everyone praising tr*mp for the tik tok ban delay when he's the one who signed the order to ban it way back in 2020 is icing on the shitcake lol

Started a new BG3 playthrough... managed to break my Paladin Oath before even leaving the Emerald Grove.
Whoopsie daisies.
Should I stick with Oathbreaker or aim for redemption?

Finally in a place where I can offer writing services again but kinda holding out until I see what this semester's courseload feels like first :\

I'm normally really bad about continuing a story after NaNoWriMo ends, even if I managed to knock out 50k words (which is never enough to -finish- the story). But after taking December off, I've managed revisions on what I had written plus another 2k words. Here's to momentum!
