hi, i'm saint! i'm an artist inspired by the decorative and ornamental art of the 1800s, naturalism in painting, and organic designs. i use a wide range of techniques and mediums to make creature-focused art (all handcrafted) and i love to oil paint live at cons!

2 of 4 shortlist for an open role at my job are remote so they'd have to relocate (job is 100% on site no remote or hybrid) and recruiter casually drops 'well we could offer relocation up to 8k for the right person'

anyone have recommendations for good excel resources on how to clean and match data across multiple reports, and then use if/then statements to populate other values in the row, based on a third reference point fixed spreadsheet?? Does this make any sense ??

work continues to kill me to death with hammers but I feel better seeing how incredibly nonchalant my director is about stuff I was very stressed over. he's worked here for like 20+ years, if he doesn't care then I don't care!!!

Turns out none of my leadership or colleagues yelled at me but I am experiencing the natural consequences of my bad decision, which is fair I think
made a really bad call at work at the end of the day Friday and I've been so stressed and playing damage control all weekend long, let's see if I get yelled at today 👍

played this last night + been thinking about it since. there's so much to sink your teeth into. We were discussing and dissecting it for like 3 hours in voice and I could keep going. There's SO MUCH folded into a beautifully succinct 90 minute game. it will make you feel wretched + it's so so good

It's nice that people are agreeing with this, but let's not forget that our entire educational system, including in universities, is effectively organized against helping students learn how to read books in their entirety.

super impressed. at 20 I was in college with no clear idea of what I wanted to do for a living, only that I wanted to be able to pay my bills, save, and still have time for art and friends and travel. now I have all of that plus a beloved partner and a stupid cat. life's great!!
