I write fantasy. "Where We Converge" is urban fantasy and "The Elysium Proposal" is, I believe, technically high fantasy, though I've also heard of things like pirate fantasy and gunpowder fantasy that might also fit.

Honestly, I've been gaming since the late 80's but the game that showed me the real depth and breadth of storytelling, the one that made me not only want to play games like that but write stories was Final Fantasy VII.
