From Davos over Fortress North America back to Davos within 9 months - I suspect many Canadians have legitimate questions that deserve more than another Forward Guidance clip.
Lloyd Axworthy makes the same point here. Mark Carney is overhauling decades of Canadian foreign and domestic policy without telling Canadians what his plan actually is, and what he’s sacrificing to impose his vision on the country.
Canadians can see only scattered pieces of a national strategy. Carney needs to explain how they fit together
The Liberals’ 2025 election platform pledged “a new, full foreign policy" and a national security review. Neither has been tabled.
