This was likely meant as a horror comedy, but wasn't particularly scary or funny. Solange was never the threat she could've been though not only was she a religious nutjob who prayed in tongues, but she also bit a baby (off-screen).😲

Horton's experiments with the gramophone were good, but then everything happened too quickly. The ending was abrupt and despite the whole "Exactly what happened I never knew", it really looked like an accident.

Recently watched: Wrong Turn (2021)
The movie was better when it was a folk horror. The group in the woods and then The Foundation's village were the best bits, but then it devolved into an action movie when the POV switched back to Jen's dad.🙁

A while back, I reviewed the Helstrom streaming series. Now, I finally read the first comics (Marvel Spotlight: Son of Satan) and was shocked by how colourful they were. The series was so dark and serious, and the comics are so red and dramatic!

Up until Thomas and the Count sat down to eat + sign documents, everything was fine. The atmosphere was quietly spooky, like a waking nightmare... and then Orlok started breathing. It all went downhill from here.🙁

Finally watched Nosferatu (2024)!
Up until Thomas and the Count sat down to eat + sign documents, everything was fine. The atmosphere was quietly spooky, like a waking nightmare... and then Orlok started breathing. It all went downhill from here.🙁
