Streaming services have seemingly kept getting worse in the years since I cancelled my subscriptions, I continue feel very justified in my decision to do so.

Oh yeah I hadn't posted about it but I'm finally checking out Sonic Project 06 again for the first time since 2017 (I believe back then it was just Wave Ocean and nothing else, or at least that's all I had played), unsurprisingly it's really good just like everyone said it is.
How long has the play time tracking on Steam worked for non-Steam games you add to your library? Because I definitely do not remember this being a thing before.

Had a dream that Deltarune chapter 6 released and it started with the party going into the Undertale universe and brutally murdering everyone with very gorey pre-rendered cutscenes and my first instinct was to post "no spoilers but the age rating is for sure going up lol".

Not that it really matters but I went through the effort of capturing this, which ended up being more of a pain in the ass than I expected, only to then find out you can't have videos in the same post as images on BlueSky so I couldn't even include it, I'm putting it here so my effort wasn't wasted

I think my Binding of Isaac skills are slowly de-rusting (that or the original is just more difficult than Rebirth and I've been learning basically a whole different game).

Saw other people posting their Metroid tier lists after the Ravenous announcement and decided to thrown mine out there (the top 3 in S are more or less interchangeable and were just ranked based on how I felt in the moment, their order could easily be different tomorrow lol)

I've enjoyed this last decade of Insomniac's games (Ratchet & Clank 2016 being the weakest one in that time frame but still not a bad game) so I was really looking forward to Wolverine since I had no reason to believe it'd be bad, the early reviews now have me concerned it might be bad.

I could tell from the trailer it was from the same team, and after Samus Returns and especially Dread, good. Currently there isn't anyone I trust more to handle a 2D Metroid game, I had a few nitpicks with Samus Returns but otherwise they clearly get what makes these games so good.

Going to take the wait and see approach, the fact that it's $10 more has me pretty well convinced that we're getting an actual real physical release here but if not, looks like I'm skipping this one because I still refuse to give game key card releases my money.

It must be miserable being a Nintendo fan who only cares about Mario lol. Between Tomodachi Life, Rhythm Heaven, Star Fox, Splatoon Raiders, and still more games in the next couple months, 2026 has been a very solid year for Nintendo, but you wouldn't know that if you only play Mario.

In 2023 I started going through all the mainline Zelda games (plus some spin-offs if I felt like playing them) and documenting my thoughts on a Twitter thread even if no one else cares, 3 years later I'm still not done so I'll start adding two games to this thread per day until I'm caught up.

I have to admit, initially when the Ocarina of Time remake gameplay was shown, the first impression for the visuals was not great lol, the more they showed and the more I got used to it the better it looked though.
