92 categories in my AI directory. 10 hold 37% of all listings, 14 have ten tools or fewer, and 3 are empty — those 404 on purpose. The tail is where thin doorway pages come from. Latest additions: https://aiverse.mindutil.com/new-ai-tools?utm_source=bsky&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=topic

Latest addition to my AI tools directory: 13 days ago. 22 tools arrived in the past month, 0 in the last week. The "new" page is honest about that, and 3 of its 92 categories have no tools.

Directories rot quietly. 176 AI tools joined ours in the past month, and every listing now carries its pricing tier up front. Newest additions, no email wall: https://aiverse.mindutil.com/new-ai-tools?utm_source=bsky&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=topic

4,323 AI tools in one filterable list: 2,198 free, 1,425 freemium, 700 paid. I pulled the pricing myself because every "best AI tools" list I found was stale.
