You know, in the old days TV shows use to have purposeful lighting with a point of view and be COLORFUL.
Like the upcoming Apple TV series, "Cape Fear".

Streaming apps interrupting credits. Even on a streaming box, every app has a different way to get back to the credits before the emergency 10-second countdown to autoplay something else. If you do it wrong, you have to start the video from the beginning and FF to the end. And it'll interrupt again.
I'm working on a column about the tech annoyances that drive us crazy, and I want it to be as universal as possible, so tell me yours!
E.g. scanning a QR code to read a menu, never receiving the one-time passcode they supposedly texted you, "verify you're human" by IDing tiny motorcycles, etc.

Haha, always hated this trope where they make us wait another week to see what happens next
Me [turning on my favorite show]: I can’t wait to watch this week’s episode. They ended on a cliffhanger last week.
Show: *devotes entire episode to flashback*
Me: SON OF A

Release that Splinter Cell remake first, damnit.
Two new Far Cry games as well as "several" Assassin's Creed titles (both single-player and multiplayer) are in development, Ubisoft confirms

I like that Batman Begins feels like it's actually about Batman. (The Dark Knight really belongs to the Joker.) it's smaller, more intimate, more stylized and moody. feels like Serpico with martial arts training sequences.
Interesting.
There's a lot to love about them all.
Anything specific that sets it apart for you?

my brother got me a fancy 4K steelbook set of the nolan batman movies so i’m rewatching BATMAN BEGINS for the 20th time and i still think this one is the best batman story of the bunch

I really liked Netflix's Dept. Q, about a Scottish cold case squad full of underestimated cops, which is basically Slow Horse: PD. My review:
'Dept. Q' Welcomes You to the Isle of Misfit Cops
'Dept. Q,' from 'The Queen's Gambit' creator Scott Frank, follows a grouchy cop (Matthew Goode) and his unit of oddball cold-case detectives.
