Speaking of camping... We saw a 3-ish year old bald eagle multiple times.
Got closer when we were canoeing but I didn't have my camera.

Kudos to those who don't mind cleaning out a muffin tin. Love muffins and cupcakes but I will do a cake or bread pan every day of the week to not clean muffin tins

this really has been such a stupid loss of what was once one of the internet's purest pleasures
i hate that i can’t enjoy cute animal videos without wondering if they’re AI.
i’m getting better at checking, but damn, way to ruin one of the few good things on the internet.

FINALLY FINISHED!!
Behold, my entry for this year's @desertbus.org : A Hollow Knight/Silksong bug mask display!
The masks are made of porcelain, with some thread for Lace. I stained, varnished, and lined the wooden display cabinet myself. The masks are attached by magnets.
I hope folks like it!

I'm currently in crisis mode. If any of y'all can help out, please do. I'm 2 months behind on both mortgage & electricity. My food stamps got removed due to a glitch in their system. (New application processing.)
If I can get $1000, I might be able to tread water instead of sink and die. #Support
