I’ve held the fermentation temp at 18-19c and the gravity has dropped to 1.027 making the ABV currently 11.7%. WHC Fountainbridge yeast has an alcohol tolerance of 12% so hopefully it won’t get much stronger. 😳 #homebrew
Brewing a big ol’ barleywine for Christmas today. Goldings and Challenger hops, treacle, ginger, orange, cinnamon, and will age on Pedro Jimenez soaked oak chips for a few weeks. Should be around 10%. #homebrew

How a band from Grangemouth can sound so glorious and dream-like as Cocteau Twins shows how magical music can be. Just beautiful. Absolutely no disrespect to the town, just looking at it from an industrial viewpoint.
