The official trailer for No Good Men, the clever new romantic comedy from acclaimed Afghan filmmaker Shahrbanoo Sadat, has arrived, offering a charming yet poignant glimpse into a love story unfolding during one of Afghanistan's most turbulent periods. The film, which premiered as the opening title at the 2026 Berlin Film Festival, blends romance, humour and social realities against the backdrop of Kabul in 2021. It has since continued its festival journey, with upcoming screenings at the London and Warsaw Film Festivals. Sadat also stars in the lead role as Naru, a camerawoman working for a local television station who has developed a rather firm opinion about men.
