I love it when a music box plays its next note of its own accord months after anyone last touched it, like that organ in Germany that's playing that 600-year John Cage piece
I’ve got a few music boxes and I really enjoy the ones you can let run down, getting ever slower, more plaintive as the little tinny death plings grow further apart
