Having my hands on the fan-english translation of the Wizardry TTRPG, I'm already homebrewing up a few custom races as well as backporting Wiz6-7 classes, using the Wizardry Gaiden 3-4 spell lists for Psionics and Alchemists as a basis. It's tough backportin', but all part of my solo TTRPG fix.

Bumrushed through Wizardry 6 (The SNES version) again, then took one of the endgame save files from the web and did some inventory/stat editing (then in-game class changing) to match my SNES chars, then imported them to Wizardry 7 and used DSCheat to edit their gender, race, and resists.

Had to nab Wizardry: The Five Ordeals and its DLC scenarios on sale. It's quite a good deal in all honesty but c'mon, I like Wizardry games and I wanna be a Wizardry supermega fan.

Wizardry Gaiden 2 is so fun but near the end-game, the Netherworld, the difficulty ramps up suppppperrr ton--I mean I appreciate the endgame content allowing ur guys to challenge fierce high level foes and reach high levels themselves, but holy shit it's bull. I wouldn't have it any other way. (1/2)

The thing that makes dungeon crawler games difficult to recommend to people who don't share that particular sickness is that I think it is funny and entertaining when the dungeon designers are deeply unfair to me.

Started playing Class of Heroes (and I'm def. going to be playing a lot more DRPGs this Fall), I honestly can see the Wizardry reskin in it super strongly. Still, I like how the anime academy setting works. A campus store to serve as Boltac's Trading Post? Like damn!

Digging back up some DRPGs I own and played for a bit in my Steam library. Here's my squad for Undernauts: Labyrinth of Yomi, I love them so. I might honestly make an actual OC out of my MC/Chief, Midori Sawada (esp. since her portrait felt like me, so she's kinda a 'sona too in a sense). c:
