Some of you may know that my grandfather was fired from his job as a school teacher in Philadelphia because he was a communist and wouldn't name names. So he sued the school district, it went to the Supreme Court, he lost ultimately. I just found some of his typewritten briefs.

Fun fact: I think my uncle was one of the people who tried to get rid of the roadless rule during Bush jr. He used to bike with Bush and wanted to put more roads and bike trails in places environmentalists wanted to protect. ...we are not close

While we’re eulogizing Tim Curry, PLEASE take care not to devalue the life he lived after his stroke and complications. Yes, it was devastating, but he had reached a peace with it, worked hard in rehabilitation to reclaim things he loved.
