After losing a whole weekend to covid/flu shot symptoms (holy guacamole, the back pain was intense), it felt good to get back out on the trail today. The weather was perfect and the trees are just starting to turn.

I'm pretty crabby today. I got my flu/covid shots on Friday and spent a beautiful autumn weekend sick in bed. Oh, well, I'd still rather do this than get full-blown illness.
