Hey! I’m Ambrosia, or Amber, whichever you prefer 🌺

I draw & write fantasy, usually OCs and fanart, inspired by ocean, floral, and space themes

I want this to be a chill space, so I may not be super active, and I’m a little shy, but feel free to say hi!

My first time photographing close-ups of hummingbirds! I took these photos as a dear friend's house and I'm so excited about them.

I'm a small creative account, I would appreciate your reposts so very much. 🥺💖

A detailed photograph of a juvenile male hummingbird in flight. You can see the way the evening sun is reflecting off of the few iridescent red scales developing on his throat. His wings are extended and you can see lots of feather detail. The background is a nearly solid cream color, the backdrop is the side paneling of a house.

Background snagged from google, unsure if official or not. If not, credit to original artist.

my OC Hadley in his dark/evil incarnation, baring his teeth towards the viewer. his lips and nose are bloodied, and his cloak billows wildly around him with the power of the bright blue/green magic effects that swirl around him. he has pale green skin with markings on one side of his face, and magenta colored eyes. his hair is braided and hung over one shoulder, dark teal fading into a sickly yellow.

Secretarybird for friendsofabracadaver on tumblr! Thank you for the #Waymakers donation! 🪶🎨 #BirdArt #SciArt

Waymakers raises funds to benefit @theyoungcenter.bsky.social 's critical work to help unaccompanied immigrant kids in the US. Join us again next September!
Illustrated portrait of a Secretarybird, with its long neck with elegant gray soft plumes, bright red-orange facial skin, and long black feathers jutting like spikes from the back of its head which cast shadows on its shoulders. The background is a soft dusty brown-purple, suggesting a broad expansive grassland.

The Shadow Prince

My piece for one of this year's #drawtober topics. Wanted to follow up on the rider from the last year. 💕

portrait like illustration of a living armor/knight with a void/shadows flowing out of his helmet. The knight has his hands resting on the pommel of a giant longsword. He is partly overgrown by ivy leaves. His eyes are like two moons

I can't explain how excited I am to finally share this one!

Raven and Z'an Al'urin, the contrast and duality of both.
For the lovely @stellastra.bsky.social !

Definitely a new favorite of this year. It was a beautiful experience to paint this!

COMMISSION WORK: two characters from the game Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura, Raven and Z'an Al'urin. They're sitting next to each other, but facing away from each other. The whole piece is full of details that show the contrast and similarities between their cultures: using a frame with tangled folliage, one with green leaves and other with dark thorns, backdrops with different views of a forest, and in the lower corners trees also contrasting with each other. Both characters are wearing outfits I designed for the client in the past.

Sometimes I’m playing games and realize how little I actually see both eyes, or even, any eyes, cause the hair is covering them. I should do a study at some point, or study my own 3D model just to show how little eyes need to be drawn. As a challenge to myself, who focuses on eyes

I have updated my kofi goal to what I should owe for having a tooth pulled. I already know that it will eat a whole paycheck and that won't be enough (sad I know).
I do also have beans open and a waitlist open for sketch and chibi skebs!

OCtober Day 7: BACKSTORY

How can you expect to move forward when all you do is look back?

#oc-tober #bweirdOCtober #bweirdOCtober2026 #art #ocart #dnd #espoeria
A full illustration of a snowy landscape, with Alekos as a child holding a dogger covered in blood, and a current Alekos standing behind him. In front of them both is the dead form of their father. Adult Alekos has his back toward it, but his face turns back with a grave expression, as if he can’t and will never completely turn away.

As per 🎉Birthday🎂 Tradition,
It would be so cool and nice of everyone to repost 💙

And thank you to everyone who's already expressed birthday wishes 💙🥰💙

Today I turn 30 and I'm going to eat lots of yummy food.
Juriel (he/they), my babiest boy, in an up close bust shot done in stark shadows. they are a light blue skinned tiefling with long white hair and bangs down the center of their face, mouth slightly parted with fangs, looking at the viewer with pupilless eyes Tine (he/whatever) [my partner's OC!], a wildfire druid changeling with white skin and long white hair with lots of warm-toned magical feather tattoos reminiscent of a phoenix. he's holding up both hands with different magic flowing from both, standing in front of a woodsy background "Esurience, Red Scourge - Gluttony" (he/him), a bust of a tan man with long and fluffy black hair with pointed ears and tall black horns. his eyes are covered in shadows, but he is grinning with blood dripping down his lips, chin, and neck. Victus Vae (Juriel's father! an NPC), a darker blue skinned tiefling who is wearing a long black coat and stepping (with his hooves) down the stairs of a somewhat abstract ship background. he's the pirate king (or one of them, anyway)
