People who were raised with English don't have a personal, cultural connection to the language and I think this is why they have such a hard time understanding the value of learning to speak the language of a people who do.

I noticed my wife was watching an AI soap slopera video on Reels so I asked if she knew it was AI. She replied yes so I told her the more she watches it, the more she'll see. Her reply? "Well, I want to watch it". We're cooked.

Some of the most MAGA folks you know are moving overseas to escape the country they helped create so they can enjoy cheap healthcare, affordable rent and 9 dollar massages while they get sunburn watching Fox News on a beach in Thailand.

Plenty of foreigners who complain about immigrants inability to speak proper English move to Thailand and spend years making excuses about why they never learned to speak Thai.

It's always kinda funny to me when I meet black Americans who think I'm not really black because I don't fit their expectations of what a black American should be.

Before moving to Thailand I was completely unaware that rice comes in a wide range of types with various grades and quality. Now I'm a rice snob 😭😭

Writers use AI they just don't use it to write. So yes, we can tell when AI wrote your post.

The US is a melting pot so there are lots of cultures but 'American Culture' in the eyes of the world appears to be just violence and racism. That makes me sad.

In late 2025, my wife and I began working with a developer on a platform to manage user registrations for her education seminars. We communicated with him primarily by email. By 2026 it was functional, allowing us to complete the first seminar using the app he built.

These 'testimonials' about Dots and Muse from 'people' claiming they're using these things + the comments on their posts just sound like bots interacting with each other. I have yet to see a compelling use case that warrants the kind of privacy access it requires. I feel ilke I'm in Bizarro World.

This mf is releasing a fuck privacy yamagatchi designed to appeal to children that mostly completes frivolous tasks, encourages laziness, tells you how to think and actively makes the owner dumber. What could go wrong?

First time shooting a gun was meh? I don't get the appeal but I stuck to the small caliber cuz they wouldn't let my stepson shoot anything over a .22. Maybe bigger guns with bigger bullets are more fun?
September 24, 2026 at 9:17 AM
Maybe I'm just not the target demographic but Muse seems like exchanging every last drop of privacy and agency one has in exchange for a glorified Siri. wtf are people thinking?

Life is hard. Make it harder: learn to speak Thai.

Big shout out to USians who are keeping up the fight cuz it takes a lot of hope and courage to drag yourself outta bed every day knowing almost every politician out there has sold their soul. Full disclosure, I'm still a US Citizen but I left the US for good back in 2006.

The most insufferable mfs on earth rn are eligious mfs posting 'God is good' or whatever the fuck. Read the room. Your God is trash if it can't stop people from killing kids.

So I'm gonna take a wild guess and say some guy named Ed Sheeran fucked up today in a major way.

Every story of someone using an 'AI assistant' is just them giving up unprecedented levels of privacy and agency to mega corporations that have proven time and time again they can't be trusted just to have it perform some mundane task that would've taken them maybe a few mins longer to do themselves

Imagine how much money these AI bros could make if they focused on making things better for everyone rather than training their probability bots for maximum exploitation.

In my village there are clean drinking water pumps available to everyone to ensure that if you don't have any anything else at least you have clean water to drink.

At the beginning of your language learning journey, record yourself speaking with bad tones and all. Keep going, don't quit. 2 years into that journey, pull those recordings out and listen to how far you've come. There's no better motivation than the sweet sound of how bad you were in the beginning.

It is wild that creators on YouTube don't have the option to schedule content for release to members only. To this day I have to manually go in and publish videos for members only based on reminders I set in Google Calendar.

Is this a safespace to talk about some of the things I've built using AI tools?

A long, long time ago on Twitter, we had something like #FollowFriday or #FollowingFriday. Now today is Friday. We don't have Twitter anymore, but I still want to recommend Ron.

You should follow him when you're learning Thai. Or when you're living in Thailand.
I may spend a bit more time over here but building an all new list of quality people to follow is a whole nother challenge on its own.
