This series feels like a complete organizational failure for the Padres, which is actually really impressive: Preller putting out a bad playoff roster, Stammen’s inexperience getting exposed, the lights being brighter than the “stars” and the pumpkins all getting carved up. Oh well.

I’m sure he doesn’t care, and neither should we, but since it looks like all the starters are getting tomorrow off, it’s kind of a bummer that Tatis ending his season with tonight’s game drops his fWAR below 5.5, his OPS below .830, and his wRC+ below 130.

If the leads aren’t 13 years old then Eggers is a fraud and the Olde English will just be obnoxious (I will still watch it, though).
