The ABC copter team covers the tragic crash and death of the NBC copter team. There's probably some specific Latin or German philosophy term for this kind of situation where the tool that caused the tragedy is also the best tool for learning about the tragedy, but I'm just gonna call it "fucked up."

I ordered a sick Ben Davis workwesr crewneck off eBay (I grew up in the Bay Area) but turns out the "XL" was sized for a different market and thus far too small for me. So... I turned it into a crop for my wife.
Happy with the results and jealous it was never gonna fit me.

I'm sorry to say that David Zaslav and other studio execs are not going to learn the proper lesson that withholding a film for a write-off is bad.
They will attribute the film's success to the genius idea of creating false scarcity that generated free marketing.

Film tax credits are a band-aid solution that will fail without a follow-up plan. Just ask Michigan, Louisiana and Georgia how the one-step plan worked out for them. Producing studios will always seek the cheaper market while you race to the bottom with subsidies. Also, this is embarrassing.
I am in strong agreement with the President. Congress should immediately take up and pass a federal film tax incentive to bring back these good-paying jobs that we've lost to other countries.

I mostly enjoyed Widow's Bay but the episode directed by Ti West was such trash it nearly stopped me from watching the rest of the season.
