I lost my parents a few yrs ago. They were elderly. Part of me was relieved bc I worried about them all the time. But now sometimes I feel a pang of sadness that I’m an orphan. Sounds ridiculous but I think this can hit regardless of your age, even if you had “bad” parents. Your thoughts?
