I think what has become more and more clear is that there’s an elite group of rich people and media members that never interact with normal people in normal ways and spend all day messaging each other about how other people are elitists who don’t see what normal people are thinking
What was really up with all that "vibe shift" stuff after the 2024 election? Like, what was the environment like, what was going on with members of the media that they bought this? I'm genuinely curious.

I saw a man on a train in a full business suit finishing a foamy Starbucks drink. He slurped the bottom with the straw, then he used the straw to scoop foam bits into his mouth, then he methodically ran his finger around the entire inside of the cup so he could lick the flavor off. It was 3pm.
recently i was on a train and saw a guy come to his seat with an amtrak hotdog. he extracted the hotdog from its bun and sliced it into thirds. then he produced a loaf of sliced bread from his carryon and laid the thirds out on a slice of it and ate it like that. obviously i will never get over this
