In this powerful and fearless message, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, the President of Burkina Faso, writes a bold letter to the newly elected Pope. Unlike traditional diplomatic greetings, Traoré speaks from the heart — calling out the silence of the Church on Africa’s suffering and urging the Pope to take real action. He reminds the Pope of the Church’s past role during colonization and challenges it to stand up for justice, truth, and freedom today. This video breaks down the emotional and historic message that speaks not just for Burkina Faso, but for all of Africa. Watch and hear the voice of a leader unafraid to demand change and call for global respect for the African people.
