🧶 In fact it’s simpler because you repeat the same steps on the front and back needle!
Make sure there’s a purl ridge facing you at the top of both the front and the back piece 😉

It’s a good idea to add a lifeline every now and then, e.g. every pattern repeat, when knitting intricate patterns, such as cables, lace or brioche.
If you make a mistake you can safely frog down to the lifeline and continue knitting.

Dropped stitches are a common source of knitter anxiety, but there’s no need to panic 😊
You can do it with or without a crochet hook. Here’s how to do it with one ✨ 🧶🙌

The “make one right” is a bit tricky, because it’s difficult to get the #knitting needle into the loop, so I pull the stitch and press the loop with my thumb to create some slack 🧶🧶🧶

I love this cast on, which allows you to knit in the round starting from the centre without leaving a hole.
Practice it with square 43. The Lifted One of the Learn-to-Knit Blanket.

When #knitting in the round, you're essentially knitting in a spiral, so with every round you're going up a step. This creates a jog on the cast on/off edge and is also visible if you're knitting stripes or colourwork.

👉 For jogless purl ridges: Knit to end of round. Slip last stitch to left needle, make reverse yarn over, slip stitch back to right needle. Purl the next round to last stitch, purl last stitch together with yarn over 🧶🙌

👉 For a jogless cast off: Before weaving in the end, complete the chain that is formed on the ridge, essentially closing the "missing link" in that last stitch 😉🙌💡

👉 Part 1: Jogless cast on edge
Cast on an extra stitch, then pass the first cast-on stitch over it to join in the round. You’ll get a jogless edge without breaking the chain of right-leaning strands along the edge 😉🙌💡
