APHA and over 160 public health experts have filed a brief backing 26 states that are fighting a change to Medicaid that will cause eligible individuals to lose their health coverage.

Gun violence is a public health crisis. In 2024 alone, firearm-related injuries led to 44,492 total fatalities. We can't allow gun violence to continue taking this enormous toll on our communities.
