The £36m donations are legal and to change the law retrospectively would be outrageous! Yes, it was announced in Parliament on 25 March that the legislation would apply to any donations from that day onwards, but that was the day all Reform MPs staged a walk-out, so we missed it.

Carol is making things up to suit her own narrative of fear, doom and immobility. She wants agency to make her own decisions on her own terms, with everyone available to pick up the pieces when the consequences of her actions ( which she refuses to face) land. #TheArchers
