This is such an important thing. I thankfully learned it quickly in my art / music journey. Life is too short for jealousy.
I am excited for my friends and peers when they succeed. You should be, too. Jealousy is ugly, it makes us worse, and benefits no one. Relish in their successes. And surround yourself with people who will relish in yours

I’m so close to finishing this album… it’s been a year, and I need it to be over 😣 just a creeping stress. Will be excited to release it once it’s finished though.

Can’t wait till we get the first AI movie physical release when they include behind-the-scenes footage. It’s just someone typing over and over in 5 second clips trying to get the thing to look correct. It’s gonna be riveting.

People out here just typing in a prompt and getting AI vocals and meanwhile I’m dressing up my closet with blankets and a twin-sized mattress just to get a decent quality recording. Because I actually enjoy the process of putting labor into my art and then having the feeling of, “I made that.”
