You do not have to be good at something to enjoy it.
You do not have to compare yourself to others who do the same thing.
Be it a game, hobby, or whatever strikes your fancy; let your enjoyment and fulfillment be just that.
Yours.

I don't care if it was just in the concept phase, promotional pieces or translation.
I'm not supporting your product if you used AI in any aspect of it.

Do not underestimate the value your life holds in the eyes of others.
Be it a kind word, an act of generosity, or simply being present when they feel alone...
What may have just been a moment in the day for you could be something they never forget.

I would easily have a Top 3 for each category if the grid permitted it, save for "Overhated".
It was difficult to find a game I enjoyed that others hate, at least until I remembered Sonic Forces.
I despise Gacha in any form, in case you were wondering about the "Overrated" category.

If for some reason you'd just want to donate to help out, you can always toss any amount over to my ko-fi. After bills are squared away all other proceeds are focused on Matilda.

Please take care of yourselves as best you can.
Even when the world does everything it can to hurt you.
Especially when it does.
You are worthy of happiness, of love, and of peace; no matter what anyone else dares to say.

I've been staring at making this post for the past three days. I don't want to have to post this.
But everyone's telling me I should. And they are right, I cant afford the surgery and recovery myself.
I need help.

Of all the games in the series, Final Fantasy VIII remains my favorite.
It was the first I played, and I have so many wonderful memories bound up in its music, its characters, and its world.
I'll never forget sharing it with @montyglu.bsky.social as we watched a speed-run of it together, either.
