The weird heat in Pittsburgh yesterday helped me figure something out. I walk dogs, so I was outdoors at the hottest part of the day. Couldn’t believe how heavily I was sweating, given that the high temp was only 81* F. Well…the humidity was 75-80%. My sweat wasn’t evaporating, thus not cooling me.

For anyone out there who’s into stationery, specifically Japanese planners, subspecies Hononichi: I’m happy to report that I have successfully purchased my 2027 book! I didn’t need to buy on the release date - nothing I wanted will sell out - it’s just fun. Little bit of excitement. 😊

Whenever someone (or some bot account) blocks me, I immediately block them back. (I get a notification when someone blocks me...I guess I opted into that at some point.) Anyway, I'm not sure if it does any good, but a bunch of those notifications now say [deleted account] where a username once was.

I’ll never understand why some people seem delighted to tell you how much your life is going to suck after you make a big change, such as having a kid, getting married, or buying a house. Like…OK, maybe? But why not let a person find out for themselves? Maybe it’ll be great for them.

My default language seems to have been set to Georgian instead of English. My skill level in the Georgian language is roughly “newborn infant.”

In the car today, I asked Siri to "play Pink Floyd on Tidal." I got a bunch of great songs, a few I hadn't heard in awhile, and a couple I'd never heard. Above all, I was reminded what a good lyricist Roger Waters is.

Well, I finally tried Vanicream body lotion. It's my new favorite. Boring = skin that doesn't itch *at all*. I was a skeptic and now I'm a believer.
