40k hot take: Cadians show up everywhere despite their planet being destroyed because the regiment is the Imperial equivalent to the US Marine Corps - half the guys making the claim have never set foot anywhere near the Cadian Gate, but think it makes them seem tough. It does not

Went straight past Goth and dated a book witch - her house is full of tomes on demonology and feminist history, her first novel is being sent out to literary agents in a few months and I bought us tickets to a lecture on Folkoric Horror tonight.

Amnesty International put out a major report documenting the influence of UK based anti trans gender critical organizations and their funding. Within hours, GC groups threatened defamation lawsuits and Amnesty was forced to pull it down. Proving the point they're anti rights.
Anyways, here it is.

While I love using the more esoteric stuff, I always feel much safer when I know there's an Ogryn with a rock to back me up
Darktide has been adding increasingly out-there 40k weapons, plasma and electricity and psychic force amplifiers, and still, at the end of the day, nothing beats good ole rock

Continuing my nostalgia trip with a few episodes of the 1996 Incredible Hulk cartoon and holy hell does that opening go HARD
They really managed to capture the torment and persecution that Hulk/Banner go through at the hands of an uncaring, violent world.

Donkeyblade Kongricles, LETS GO!
Long ago, the world was nothing more than an endless sea cloaked in a boundless sky, reaching as far as could possibly be imagined. Then two great Titans came into existence. The Bionis and the Mechonis. The Titans were locked in a timeless battle. Until at last, only their lifeless corpses remained

A teachable moment from the Ravenloft session last night - minis are great (and I am very proud of the work I did on the Boneless here) but can lose their fear factor very quickly if, for example, the party exclusively refers to them as "Big Lasagna"

So with Reform Councils banning LGBT books from libraries, how do we flip this?
For a start, there need to be about a billion essays on the Queer subtext of [insert right wing garbage manifesto here] - at the very least make them doubt themselves.

Shoutout to Gargoyles, who in an era when cartoons armed everybody - from supervillains to beat cops - with nonlethal stun-blasters and weird rayguns, featured realistic firearms and had the comic relief accidentally shoot and hospitalise another main character

Could your party finally be the ones to bring this wandering hunter down? Or is the immortal beast more than it seems?

Another stupid one - I had a client ask me if it was possible to make him some Space Marines with "disguises."
Turns out he meant camouflage, but we both agreed this was too good not to have at least one test model like this

I'd just like to say to Pokemon fans who don't like Charizard..... 40K fans of any faction that isn't Space Marines feel your pain
I would say nerf Charizard but every little timmy and even Pokémon/Game Freak themselves love Charizard so much so there’s no way 🤷🏽♀️

I'm taking a week off, so have an ongoing project that's waiting for me when I get home. Aggie Blackcap is a Hag who took the idea of getting back to nature a little too far. Once she's inked, I have a group who are in for a mind-bending time of Myconids and Hallucinogenic spores

Holy shit, the TTRPGS for trans rights bundle that my little horror journalling game is in has almost reached $25k! That's with 22 days left to go!
I know we joke about how we're all just passing the same $20 around in trans mutual aid spaces, but look at how it scales when we do it collectively!

Loved reading through the Path of Villainy as for a Death Knight the recommended story beats are things like "betray your allies" or "kill an innocent"
While the Lich is "harvest 100 souls" and "make it so no afterlife wants you"
And I appreciate narrative character growth but... I'm level 4 guys.

Oh now this is fun. I'm loving the idea of characters progressing into something more using feats. It reminds me of the old kit classes
