to be vulnerable is tough
We always want to show our best but
to constantly project a personal ‘perfection’ made me realize that I have no evidence of my failed attempts because I’ve discarded them

When I look back at the portfolios that I submitted for post secondary — the work I created then, compared to now — leaves me perplexed. Asking how I got here, making what I make. I’m sure this sentiment is shared by many creatives, across all mediums.
