Christopher & Nathan offer lukewarm takes before, during, and after Arsenal games. It's like live commentary, podcasts, and call-in shows had a baby.

There's also live detailed stats and chat. Live at gametimes at arseradio.com

Our last trip to the Amex, in March, was won by a ninth minute Saka shot that deflected off Baleba and through Verbruggen's legs. We had 40 per cent of the ball and 0.43 expected goals, our lowest of the season.

Hurzeler said only one team tried to play football. Three points anyway.

The last time Brighton beat us was 14 May 2023 at the Emirates. Enciso, Undav and Estupinan scored in a 3-0 that left Arsenal four points behind City with two games to play.

That was the day the title went. We have not lost to Brighton in seven games since.

Brighton's first ever away win at Arsenal came on 5 December 2019. Neal Maupay scored the winner and it left us nine games without a win, our worst run since 1977.

Brighton won four of five visits to the Emirates between then and May 2023. We have won all three home meetings since.

Arsenal have never lost an FA Cup tie to Brighton. Five ties, five wins, in 1935, 1980, 1988, 2013 and 2015.

The two at the Amex both finished 3-2 to us. Giroud got two in 2013, and in 2015 we were holders and went on to keep the cup.

After that 1935 cup tie the two clubs did not meet again for 44 years. Then they played five times in five months in 1979 and 1980.

Arsenal won four and drew one without conceding a goal. That was the season we played 70 matches, still the most any English club has managed.

Brighton did not score against Arsenal until their tenth attempt. The first nine games, from 1935 to January 1982, produced 18 goals for us and none for them.

Andy Ritchie and Michael Robinson finally broke it in April 1982, and Brighton won that game 2-1.

Brighton's first ever match in the top flight was against Arsenal. It was 18 August 1979 at the Goldstone Ground and we won 4-0. Brady scored a penalty, Alan Sunderland got two and Frank Stapleton the other.

Some welcome to the First Division.

The first time Arsenal ever played Brighton was an FA Cup tie at the Goldstone Ground in January 1935. We won 2-0 with goals from Joe Hulme and Ted Drake in front of 22,343.

Arsenal were champions that season. Brighton were in the Third Division South and usually drew about 6,000.

No, we are not doing a live broadcast today. Forgot to put that out earlier. Sorry.

We are both working today and unable to get away for the match. We're saving our weekday time off for Champions Leagues games!

VAR missed, despite all the tech in the world, what a few "well-hydrated" yokels in Asheville North Carolina caught on the very first replay.

Listen at 71:11 at the link below.

P.S. ProRef, VAR & John Brooks are quite shit

Phil Neville advocating that neither Fernandes nor Foden should have gotten a card for kicking each other.

How in the world is he paid to do what he does?

but who's going to stop arsenal from blatantly cheating at corners
September 13, 2026 at 3:08 AM
Us before the match:
Let's not spend the game complaining about the ref and just point out any obvious moments

John Brooks: lol you fools
September 13, 2026 at 2:05 AM
But don't forget folks, after decades of evidence to the contrary, Arsenal have bought the refs to ensure they win the league again this year
So we got hosed on the Bruno no-penalty and now today’s call against Konsa.

That’s two completely wrong calls in four games.

Not a great sign.

Post-game show is live ft cup-winning goalie Phil aka Felipe. Catch the pre-game & live commentary for the joke.

Honestly, we think it's great. Looking at the game, tactics, and long-term view.

Still working on other platforms. Amazon & PocketCasts should work? Apple has questions about us. Fair.
