Small watercolor portraits of my and a friend’s Lancer characters, done in like 90 minutes. I forgot how bad my tiny travel kit brush was, and I’m rusty. I tried to do the inks last, which I need to experiment more with. #ArtBySEM #watercolor #traditionalart #Lancer
The bust of a young Polynesian man with curly hair against a red background. Bust of a young Chinese woman who has been splicing herself with various DNA, including marmoset ears/mouth and a deer-like nose, against a purplish background.

A self-indulgent gouache test, my second gouache painting. My GW2 Commander Thekka and Vloxx, after Burton's The Meeting on the Turret Stairs #gouache #traditionalart #ArtbySEM #GW2
Two asura from GW2 meet on the stairs in an Inquest base. Thekka, my commander, is walking up the stairs and looking down. Vloxx takes her arm and holds it as he walks down the stairs.

Testing out some gouache paints I got for Christmas. I wish I had thought to prepare an actual sketch, but I mostly wanted to see how things applied. A couple of cats #ArtbySem #TraditionalArt #Gouache
An orange tabby cat and black cat painted with gouache. They are stylized and not realistic.

Hourly Comics Day has MOVED!

It's the 20th anniversary and we're taking a stand alongside our Black cartoonist members and friends to demand a change to honor Black History Month- draw your comics on the 8th, not the 1st!

#hourlycomicsday #hourlycomicday #hcd
"IN OBSERVANCE & SOLIDARITY". Two black speech bubbles with white text read "HOURLY COMICS DAY IS NOW ON FEB 8TH. CARTOONISTS HONOR BLACK HISTORY MONTH. FEB 1 - MAR 1". There is an illustration of a black silhouetted hand raised and holding a pen in the top right, and an illustration of a nib pen and an ink well personified on the bottom right. The nib and ink are bumping fists. A URL at the bottom is "hourlycomicsday.com".

My website should now have a comics section! I want to make a comic for the landing page and move the Salix picture to my illustration page, but that's for later I think
