During Banned Books Week, it's worth pointing out that the UK have had 75 books since 1512 (one every 7 years). The US has had 8093 since 1981 (180 every year).

And, yet, the US thinks we're the country suppressing freedoms of expression.

I'm surprised Jerry Hall had an issue lying in a coffin. I'd have thought she was used to sleeping with the dead, having been married to both Mick Jagger and Rupert Murdock

Quite the mixed bag for me and shows the gap in my gaming between the 1980s and the 2000s.

"He's always on the scene"

Why did nobody ever think to investigate Fireman Sam for all those blazes? The clues were always there.

Price aside, are people still using VR? It's been tried so many times but not really taken-off.

Despite being on the iPhone Upgrade Programme, I've not ordered the new phone.

Not because I'm not interested in it, but because Apple has given ZERO information to those on the old programme on how they're supposed to transition to the new one.

It's pretty poor support, imo

Nextbase Dashcam – Battery replacement that’s not very repair, or pocket, friendly
So many people have dashcams in their car, and I’m no exception. I have a Nextbase model but, recently, it’s been randomly restarting during journeys. After discussion with the AI support bot (I had no choice – don’t judge me!), it turned out that the internal battery was pretty much dead – after fully charging, […]

I'd not come across the Make Waves brand until the other day. They make refillable deodorant and antiperspirant.

I'm aware of them because they're all over my Facebook feed, promoting their product via a simple technique - bash the competition.

How to get free AAA games for PC and Mac
There are open-source and free-to-play games available that cost nothing (up-front anyway), such as Fortnite. However, what about those AAA games, that have an up-front costs. How can you get those for free?

Ahh, nothing says "tribute" more than a web page so stuffed fulls of ads that it's barely readable.

I kinda feel tribute pages should be the one place where they should not put advertising.
Tim Curry, iconic star of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Stephen King's It, Clue and more has sadly died aged 80.

Team Empire's thoughts are with his friends, family, and loved ones at this difficult time. He will be sorely missed.

Considering how careful they've had to be making sure emergency alert tests were warned of in advance, because of the impact it can have on some people, genuine ones need to be a really, really, full emergency - "do this or you're going to die" kind of thing. This didn't feel like that.

I'm not saying NYT's Wordle AI Bot is a bit crap but today it told me its third suggestion was much better than mine, despite mine being the correct word, and its wasn't.
