running slightly behind on the waitlist, so a few remaining comms that i haven't reached out for payment yet will be worked on across the first half of october!
surprise style comms are still on track for their respective deadlines 😤🙏
thank you for your patience and support this past month!!

something i feel is important as an artist is i feel like it's not the smartest thing to take on a commission that will take you several months to work on for a rate that just won't equal the time spent on it. i feel like it harms your worth and motivation a lot and truly isn't fair to the client

tbh sometimes it makes me sad whenever i see those videos where someone has a before vs. after of being "beautified" and it involves removing their glasses 🥲 i forget how some still find it as an unappealing feature / are ashamed of it

when someone commissions me and describes some character or media as inspo, then provides the reference themselves, idk why but i think that's so nice! like yeah it could be a widely known meme, or i could google the ref myself, but the small action goes a long way imo

thank you for the love on my comms post yesterday (and bday 🥺)
i'm working on reading the submissions; slots are nearly full and i may only approve of several more based on what i have so far!
but i wanted to answer some questions i've gotten since then (mainly from twitter, but in dms too):

i wish there was a nice honk button for cars. i had to honk at someone who was backing out in the spot directly across me after i was already backing out first, and although i pressed as lightly as possible on the wheel i still feel like a Road Rage Monster
