Alrighty, this is LONG overdue, but let's get back to posting! Gonna abandon the chronological thing I was doing and just pick some favorites to start with. As a thread below this, will be detailing some lore, but to start with, here's the ref sheet for my gator Wilburn, done by @chozogoat.art ^^

FurAffinity (a furry focused online art gallery) is looking for funding after refusing to comply with advertiser demands. And oh boy are some of those advertiser demands pretty ridiculous.

Also, let's not have any illusions about what they hoped to achieve with these demands.
They did not actually want to ban depictions of hugging.
They correctly identified furry as a queer community, so they made a demand they know is impossible to comply with.

FA being told by advertisers that the most mundane of art is just too risqué to work with should be a good indicator why trying making your fandom squeaky clean to appease people, who will never be happy, is a shitty idea

"we can't make video games without AI" only makes sense if you think video games were invented about three years ago.

Stupid thing about the VRChat staff is that there is 50% recklessly supporting AI and another 50% that hates it and wants it gone. Word from these people is if we want this to change we need to make a fucking stink of it

I think this is really funny juxtaposed with Third Way admitting attacking trans people is a political loser for democrats.
Both major parties coming to terms with, man, we are cooking nothing this cycle.
