RSV symptoms are similar to a cold. But it can be serious because RSV can cause bronchiolitis in babies and young children and pneumonia in younger children and older adults.

The RSV vaccine is the best way to protect yourself or your baby from catching RSV.

According to our new research, children in half of England could be missing out on an accurate asthma diagnosis, leaving them at increased risk of serious asthma attacks and emergency hospital admissions.

Symptoms of lung conditions may include breathlessness, a cough that lasts a long time or goes away and comes back, wheezing and more.

Having any of these symptoms does not mean you have a lung condition, but it’s important to speak to your GP or healthcare professional.

GOV.UK released that newborn ICU admissions dropped by 50% in first full year of RSV maternal vaccine programme.
