I may be biased, but I think this is the best piece about KOF 94 and its origins assembled thus far. It’s more of a culmination of early 90s fighting game design than I ever really gave it credit!

I may be biased, but I think this is the best piece about KOF 94 and its origins assembled thus far. It’s more of a culmination of early 90s fighting game design than I ever really gave it credit!

That janky Mister Linux update from last week seems to have broken my update all script. Even after getting the new Linux update and fully reinstalling the script, it keeps erroring out looking for some dropbox.device file that I have never had. At my wit's end trying to sort this out.

I did a new Atari interview for you: Walt Klappert, Atari Advanced Development Group/WCI Labs. At Atari, Walt worked on creating software for girls. He was director of Fisher Price Dance Fantasy, a dance choreography game for small children. He later worked authoring for CD+G.

So how about this for a "pause AI" proposal: "pause credulous AI reporting". No more media about "breakthroughs" or "rogue agent swarms" or ... UNLESS and UNTIL that media demands the actual empirical evidence and/or focuses on the motivations of & harms by these companies.
