The #NAZA reaction by Israel shows Israel is not a real democracy. It reached for suppression and autocracy immediately.

It's time to shake up the racist twats in Australia.
Here's a French video (with English subtitles) about what would happen if the far-right racists got their way and all foreigners and people of colour were forced to leave.

I don't know how Europe does it with those itty bitty bar fridges. I'm single and still need a full-size and a freezer.

Punching a barely conscious man strapped to a hospital guerney: NOT a sackable offence for NSW Police.

Chris Minns and Labor have set this standard.

#OJ Had some orange juice fresh squeezed from store bought caro oranges and while delicious it does not compare to the juice from my parents orange tree.

This though, is from store bought ruby grapefruit. A lot of undeveloped seeds in there but still very nice.

We're paying a fortune for our connection to this decaying empire. AUKUS alone is a huge burden.
Everyone but Australia reconsiders relationship with America
No-one inside federal politics seems interested in discussing the large orange elephant in the room and how it is materially changing every other country's views of the world.

Abandoned fishing gear drifting into northern Australia threatens marine life like turtles and dugongs.

Backed by new funding, Indigenous rangers are using drones and AI to track and remove tons of "ghost nets" while working to address ocean pollution at the source.

Liz Kimbrough reports.
Indigenous rangers pull killer ‘ghost nets’ from Australia’s northern coast
On a remote beach on Groote Eylandt, a large island in Australia’s Gulf of Carpentaria, Kirsten Eden and her colleagues found a fishing net that someone had tried to make disappear. It had been…

The burden of #adaption. A good example is #climatechange. It isn't just the harm to our environmental, agricultural etc systems. It's the need for all the systems and people running them to adapt to the new conditions. To find new ways. Exciting and daunting times.

This morning, there were quadcopters shooting at children in Beit Lahia.

During water distributions, these kids were pushing their jerrycans in a trolley when a quadcopter started shooting at them. The military occupation is constantly targeting Palestinian children in Gaza.

It's fairly well known straight-acting gays present themselves as straight for safety etc.

What is less well know is most straight men are also straight-acting. Being straight has become a performative role, not a real identity of straightness, whatever that might mean.

Most arts have an availability and pricing problem. There is snob level, retiree level and poor level but most are not these. To see art they must pay snob level and go during work. This causes resentment and lack of appreciation which delivers arts funding issues.

IMO Art must be accessible.
