I have a temporary subscription to Sky TV. Before every episode I watch they show an advert promoting a new show. The main piece of information they are using to try to persuade me to watch it is to tell me it was created by 50 Cent - AS IF THIS WAS A REASON TO WATCH A SHOW and not to avoid it!

It's not like season 1 was mind blowing - its zenith was "pleasantly diverting" - but season 2 of Modern Love just drops off a cliff, quality-wise. Ep 4 is shit, 5 actually unwatchable. Does he think young people watch this kind of thing? I'm in 2 minds as to whether to abandon it or skip a couple.

There's so much victim-playing amongst football fans that I try to not fall into everyone-is-against-us thinking. But every time I watch Spurs games, I struggle not to feel like it's really obvious that the commentator, and especially whoever the pundit is, want nothing more than to see Spurs lose.

Justwatch is good, but what we need is a resource that doesn't just tell you where you can watch things, but one that tells you to what service and when forthcoming things are going to be added.

RIP Dolly. Can't say I was a massive fan of her music - though Jolene and 9 to 5 are bangers - but she seemed like a totally amazing person. Did so much for those less fortunate than herself and always knew and embraced who she was. The smartest of dumb blondes.

Tidal really is a bit shit. 3 of the first 5 tracks in "My New Arrivals" today are by artists who share names with other artists I listen to but who are actually different artists - because Tidal can't keep artists of the same name separate.
