The artists in our Avivo ArtWorks program were excited to have a scarecrow shown at this year's Minnesota State Fair!
Members of the program came up with the collaborative idea, using buttons so everyone in the program can be part of it. The two colors represent the two sides of mental health.

It's not every day we have surprise parties at Avivo - but yesterday we celebrated Kristen Bewley's 17 years at Avivo, and also her Minnesota Perinatal Quality Collaborative’s 2025 Kunshe Award Honorable Mention award for her "outstanding leadership in perinatal health." Congratulations Kristen!

I was proud to secure $850,000 in federal funding to expand their Chicago Ave center. I'll keep fighting to invest in affordable housing for the folks who need it most. 💪🏽
