There’s a little while longer until we’re ready to send out the play test packs, so get in while you can!
My hot take is that the extreme solipsism pervading game commentary on the internet stems from a lengthy tradition in video game journalism in which you catered to a teenager audience that was very solipsistic. The hatred-driven algorithms of Meta/TW have only compounded this.
I am the universal subject. If a game works for me, it logically works for everyone. Those who like a different experience must be deluded or willfully, maliciously dumb.
This feels like the basis of so much rpg commentary, going back all the way to the beginning.

This is such a fantastically entertaining book that I'm not surprised it's being reprinted so soon after publication!

The stunning part of #AppleTV is not its awards performance, it's the idiocy of the studios who are baffled by its success: hire creatives and let them build what they want without much interference, because you're not selling a TV show, you're selling a $1,000 slab of glass and plastic every year.
