That's no moon...
It's been raining here a lot lately, and we have a mushroom that has now grown to roughly the size of a cantaloupe. If it keeps growing it will be the size of a soccer ball in a day or two. 🌕

#FlashbackFriday image at the abandoned Kings Park Psychiatric Center from 2020.
I go there several times per year. You'd think I'd tire of it, yet I never do.
Found out yesterday that this building was razed this week. 😔

@analogfusion.bsky.social - A certain famous almanac that's been around for a couple hundred years produced a "first frost" graphic that was used by one of the news outlets.
Looks like they may need some geography help. 🧐

I guess it shouldn't surprise me that I have too many cameras and too much film. And too many albums. CDs. Guitars.
While cleaning in the basement last weekend I found my French homework from 9th grade. Which was about 40 years ago. 😂🤦♂️

I'd lived in (suburban) NY for 2 years 25 years ago.
The memory of it is usually in the distance. It's a very big memory, so it looms large, but on days other than today it's now further away than it once was. But rest assured it remains.

@panamstyle.bsky.social - Negatives from the Nikkormat are looking good! My partial light seal replacement also seems to have been enough. 🍀🤞 Thanks again!

A week or two back I was blaming Sandeep and @panamstyle.bsky.social for forcing (!) me to add a whole other camera system (Olympus OM) to my collection.
What does PanAm do this week? Sends me this to make (!) me start ANOTHER system.
He's either incredibly generous, or incredibly evil. 😈😉 (both)

#ShittyCameras and drinks. It’s #ShittyCameraChallenge time and this camera has been awaiting its time to stink. Yes, it’s cute but it’s horrible.
