This morning, the D&D team and Magic's Studio X informed our leadership of our intent to unionize. We love the games we make and the work we do, and unionizing is how we protect that work.

"Heart of Mine"

The world may take much from a man, yet sometimes grace remains in the small arms around his neck, and in the son who still calls him home. ☀️

I really do think tech crossed a line at some point between "helping you do the things you want to do" on the one hand, and "helping you do the things tech wants you to do" on the other.

At this point, we're all contorting ourselves to live how the tech industry thinks we should be living.

I know it's a little thing, but walking through the city at 2am (as champions do), and seeing the Patroller's lantern illuminating his armour ever so slightly makes such a difference to the game. #WoW #Wowforever

Today in things that make me proud to be Mayor: PS 889's Hyper Pigmentation became 2-time Minecraft champs at the City's Annual Video Game Festival.

Gaming doesn’t have to be a male-dominated industry. NYC is a top recruiter of gaming jobs & we want the next gen of hires to look more like our city.
Two gamers hug in celebration. A row of girls in gaming chairs typing on computers. Five gamers pose with a sign the reads “Hyper Pigmentation” in front of a step-and-repeat that reads “Mayor’s Cup”

Such a mixture of old and new architecture here. I always loved the Vortex Pinnacle and Throne of the Four Winds architecture and given they are also in the Skywall, we shouldn't be surprised at the same architecture here on Zephras Isle. #WoW #Warcraft
Two large tower structures, one similar to the floating Vortex Pinnacle dungeon, the more old school building style of towers.

Zephras Isle is much bigger than I thought it would be and although it feels familiar in many ways, it still portrays it's particular aesthetic. Also, the updates to the water, especially waterfalls, makes sitting and taking a little more space to chill really lovely. #WoW #Wowforever
