Oregonians have been voting by mail for decades. It is secure, trusted, and gives every eligible Oregonian a voice — and yesterday, the Supreme Court affirmed that President Trump and the U.S. Postal Service must follow the law. This is yet another win in our fight to protect your right to vote.

“I won’t pretend this outcome doesn’t hurt. But in my book, Becky had already won the moment she stepped onto the field, long before the courtroom was ever part of the story. She simply showed up to play."

Read more from Heather Jackson, mom of Becky Pepper-Jackson, on today’s ruling in WV v. BPJ.
Supreme Court ruling on trans athletes can't change my daughter | Opinion
My trans daughter, Becky Pepper-Jackson, wanted to play the sport she loves. That simple wish took her all the way to the Supreme Court.

1/ Transgender Americans want the same things as every other American: the freedom to build a good life, earn a livable wage, and fully participate in their communities — including, for many, the camaraderie, discipline, and sense of belonging that come from sports.

LET TRANS KIDS PLAY ⚽️🏳️‍⚧️

Today's Supreme Court ruling allows for discrimination, but 𝙞𝙩 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨𝙣’𝙩 𝙧𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨 𝙚𝙭𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙙𝙚 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨 𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙨. We're lucky in OR to have policies that allow trans students to play, but we must keep fighting for trans folks EVERYWHERE!

If you're celebrating Juneteenth in Oregon it's likely thanks to Clara Mae Peoples. More than 80 years ago, Peoples brought the first Juneteenth celebration to Oregon.
