It is with deep sadness that the BC First Nations Justice Council (BCFNJC) acknowledges the passing of Joan Phillip (Amshen).
BCFNJC Chair Kory Wilson met with Minister Rebecca Alty to discuss advancing the BC First Nations Justice Strategy alongside Canada's Indigenous Justice Strategy. Through collaboration and shared action, we can address the overrepresentation of Indigenous people in the justice system.
