NEW: Remedy's latest game, Control Resonant, is filled with art galleries. The galleries are filled with real art

When I began talking to Remedy about it, I was delighted to discover who the artists are: many are the game developers' parents

My story...

Who made the art inside Control Resonant?
When the developers of Control Resonant needed to fill their video game version of New York City with art galleries, they tapped the talents of people they knew particularly well

uchikoshi pretty literally said this too in that inteview recently and idk yall. if you view your coworkers as obstacles instead of collaborators maybe you're just a bad leader
I appreciate the bar is quite low but this excerpt from an interview with Molyneux about AI is almost too on the nose. Nice anecdote about a colleague he used to respect and enjoy working with, followed by an explanation of how him and everyone like him is now expendable.

Freshly added to our digital Archive: Dimension-3, a short-lived magazine about high-end computer and console games.

It's filled with eclectic coverage, which we love, but also no surprise that a magazine about Mac and 3DO games only lasted seven issues...

The more i see stuff like this from people heading projects the more i think that the ability to actually hit send on a work, warts and all, is a skill that is necessary lest the allure of "perfect" eat everything and everyone you love
Reading this Famitsu interview Uchikoshi did and it seems that the reason the Crash Keys game was canceled was because *Uchikoshi* wanted to use AI, not the publisher. This snippet is driving me nuts. Makes all the posturing with Hundred Line read extremely shallow.

Please note that Sega of America's fiscal year 1997 reports that leaked a few years ago implied that Sega of America spent so much money on advertising for the Sega Genesis that they had almost no money to advertise the Sega Saturn. And that they had warehouses full of unsold Genesis games.
i watched all the wrestling TV of 1995 not that long ago and i am telling you, I'm not exaggerating, this Mother Fucker made up about 22% of the commercials on both WWF and WCW programming for *months*
'VectorMan' was released on the SEGA Genesis 31 years ago today in the US.

Painful review of the Capcom Beat 'Em Up Bundle on Steam that really highlights how destructive the continue system was to people's perception of arcade games.

The beat 'em ups mentioned play wildly different from one another if you're actually trying to survive on 1 credit.
